Japanese merchandise manufacturer GARRACK will release a second series of Attack on Titan inspired knives. This product will be limited to Japan, but consumers within the country will get a second chance at obtaining these items. Inspired by the weapons used to defeat Titans, consumers can purchase these items through the GARRACK online store.

The knife brand NiNJA will handle production of the knives themselves. In May 2024, GARRACK released a video, showcasing this product. You can watch the video below:

As mentioned previously, these knives are inspired by the weapons used in Attack on Titan. That being the case, they feature the same segmented detail, and even a unique handle. The knives will cost 19,800 yen or $132. The items can be ordered through a middle-man service directly through the GARRACK online store.

More information as to when the knives will be available to pre-order will appear sometime in the future. This will also include when this second wave of knives will be shipped to consumers. For now, consumers can sign up for a mailing list to receive an alert once the item is available.

In January 2025, a set of Attack on Titan sukajan jackets were announced. A total of two jackets are available, with four other clothing items announced alongside them. This includes t-shirts and a hoodie. These items are immediately available to purchase.

Three months after its Japanese debut, the Attack on Titan: The Last Attack compilation consisting of the final anime episodes will head to movie theaters worldwide in February 2025. However, we will need to act fast to see it. It will be limited to a one-day showing. Both episodes are also available to stream via Crunchroll on their own.

If you are in the United States or Canada, your day to see Attack on Titan: The Last Attack is February 10, 2025. There will only be showings in theaters that day. However, you will have options, even with that limit. There will be two types of showings. One will feature the original Japanese voice actors and English subtitles. The other will feature the English dub.

Crunchyroll also shared an official trailer for this showing. There’s no footage from the presentation. Instead, it teases the release date in North America.

There’s no specific trailer for the final presentation. However, considering this film is a compilation of the last two episodes, known as The Final Chapters Special 1 and 2, the trailers for both of those can offer a hint as to what to expect. Just know there are spoilers in both for the end of the series.

The Brazil SP Expo’s CCXP 2024 , Crunchyroll revealed a number of 2025 anime series and confirmed it picked up the Attack on Titan: The Last Attack movie. It also confirmed that Fire Force season 3 will air on the service starting in April 2025, just like seasons 1 and 2, as well as the new MAPPA series Zenshu in January 2025.

In the case of the Attack on Titan: The Last Attack movie, Crunchyroll won’t be handling that latest film everywhere. If you’re living in the US, Canada, Mexico, some Latin American countries, Brazil, some European countries, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East, or Africa, the company will handle distribution of it. In Asia, it is out of Crunchyroll’s hands. It will appear in early 2025.

In the case of Fire Force season 3, it is being described as the “final chapter” for the anime series. So this should be completely it. Not all of it will be available at once, however. The show is being split into two cours. The first will air in April 2025. The second arrives in January 2026.

As for Zenshu, that’s the series about a woman who is an anime genius. She’s already come off of one animation success. However, as the director prepares for her next project, she finds she doesn’t have the firsthand, real-world experience to create it. The latest trailer for that appeared too. Soon, the creator who resembles Sadako from The Ring finds herself isekai-ed away into the world of her creation, which she can influence with her drawing abilities.

The official X (formerly known as Twitter) for the Attack on Titan anime teased a screenshot of Attack on School Castes, which is the post-credits scene for The Last Attack. It shows Eren eating popcorn while sitting between geeky Armin and goth girl Mikasa.

Attack on School Castes appeared in volumes 21 to 34, depicting a modern version of the Attack on Titan characters. Everyone lives in a normal high school and it’s a slice of life comedy, in contrast to the much darker main story. Despite the fact that this is basically a canon modern AU, there are quite a few nods to the main series’s quirks and storylines. The post-credits scene for the movie will use the final chapter from Volume 34.

Attack on Titan: The Last Attack is a compilation film of parts 3 and 4 of Attack on Titan: The Final Season. In an interview with Crunchyroll, series director Yuichiro Hayashi said that this is actually the optimal format to watch the finale of the series due to how he originally storyboarded The Final Chapters specials. The movie started airing in Japan on November 8, 2024.

The Fuji-Q Highland amusement park in Yamanashi, Japan will feature a new Attack on Titan ride from September 17, 2024. The ride will focus on the final battle in Libero, which was in The Final Season.

Last year, Fuji-Q Highland had an Attack on Titan ride that let you experience the operation to retake Wall Maria. Both that one and the Libero ride seem to be flight simulation rides. As a new recruit of the Survey Corps, you’ll help out Levi, Jean, and Mikasa as you face off against five Titans to Eren. You’ll “fly” around while fighting against titans, which will be in full realistic CG projected on giant screens around you. This’ll be the first time in Japan that a ride uses this technology.

The ride itself will last about 8 minutes and anyone over the age of 4 years old can ride on it. For safety reasons, you’ll need to be over 110 cm as well. It’ll cost 2000 JPY (around $13.85) to ride on it. If you bought the 1-day , then this ride will be part of that cost. Fuji-Q Highland will also sell merchandise based on this ride, with more information on that appearing later on in the future.

Attack on Titan is readily available on streaming services like Crunchyroll and Netflix. The Attack on Titan ride will appear in Fuji-Q Highland from September 17, 2024. Attack on Titan: The Last Attack, which will be a compilation film of parts 3 and 4 of The Final Season, will air in Japanese theaters from November 8, 2024.

It’s quite short at under thirty seconds long. As a note, it does contain spoilers from the final battle of the show. The Last Attack will retell parts 3 and 4 of Attack on Titan: The Final Season. Series director Yuichiro Hayashi said that this is the optimal format to watch the last showdown and conclusion of the show. This is because he originally drew the storyboards of The Final Chapters specials with the intention of having the audience watch it all as a movie.

Attack on Titan ran from 2009 to 2021 in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine, and it has been compiled into 34 tankobon volumes. It was a very popular anime series as well, with Wit Studio animating seasons 1-3 and MAPPA taking over from there. With over 140 million copies of the manga in circulation as of November 2023, it is one of the best-selling manga series of all time.

Attack on Titan follows these soldiers who use their equipment to go soaring through the skies to take down colossal enemies. Seems like a good game premise, right? It’s happened before, and they can be fun! When it comes to an Attack on Titan VR game, it seems like the sort of thing to go into more cautiously due to all the movement and the concerns about VR sickness or handling it right, but the execution Univrs used almost makes it feel like a Spider-Man sort of game.

I just really wish the titans' models weren’t so hideous and weird-looking.

Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable is an early access game, so it isn’t all there yet. The concept is that titans are again attacking the cities and getting inside the walls, just like they did in the iconic opening parts of the manga and anime. In the two chapters you have access to, you can see what it’s like to fight back against them.

I was incredibly worried going into Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable. All of the early details and videos made it seem like a very active game. After all, it focuses on the Omni-Directional Mobility (ODM) gear and zipping around the map. You’re even, ideally, supposed to be attacking while swinging too. The funny thing is while walking on the ground sometimes did feel a little uncomfortable, I didn’t feel uneasy or ill at all while actually using the ODM to fly around. It is really accommodating! It’s always the main reason why Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable felt like a Spider-Man game.

See, Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable actually gets really in-depth about movement, and the actions used to soar seemed like ones Peter Parker or Miles Morales would use. If you want to quickly scale in one set, defined direction, you aim both the left and right controllers in such a way that their reticles line up together and look like a diamond. Then, you pull back on them. (Like how Parker or Morales would probably pull back on webbing.) After that, you then sort of pull and swing toward areas. Even the nature of swinging the blades that you can pick up, replace with new blades, and use to swipe at the back of titans’ necks or appendages feel like maybe a certain friendly, neighborhood superhero might with a weapon. It’s really neat and feels good.

So the gameplay is strong. But, in some cases, the depictions of characters isn’t? It’s weird. As part of the introduction and tutorial, Levi saves you as you’re being eaten by a titan. (Like as in you actually see yourself going over the lips, past the gums, look out stomach…) It looked like a 3D model, from what I saw, and it was great! But then when story segments with Armin came up, he very clearly looked like an unmoving, 2D figure. Like instead of animated segments setting things up, you’d see him static and flat in one position, the game would cut to black, you’d see him static in another position, things would cut to black again, and so on. I’d have preferred static images like the used for the introductory and expository segments instead. 

But I would take the Paper Mario version of Armin any day over the ugly titans. They look so bad in Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable that they aren’t even scary. They’re just disgusting. It made me appreciate the Koei Tecmo Attack on Titan games more, as at least there these fearsome foes actually seem scary and menacing. In the VR adaptation, they’re too dopey and goofy to feel like a threat. I mean, yes, you will die in only two hits if one manages to actually swat at you before you get in the right position to attack them. But the enemy models and designs just look bad. 

I mean, look! Gross.

I will say that even though these are goofy and abominable, at least it is easy to see the neck for attacks. Also, the arms and legs are easy to swipe at and attack, so there are no hitbox issues when striking at them. 

I am genuinely curious about how the final version of Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable is going to turn out, as the ODM mechanics are surprisingly fun! Like it really offered a sense of freedom, without making me feel queasy. Well, unless I was looking at a titan. Or needing to really quick spin and maneuver in circles to get around a titan to attack it. You know what I mean. There are some rough spots, which honestly could be due to it being an early access title. But it may prove to be an interesting Attack on Titan game, or at least a fun not-Spider-Man game with Spider-Man-like mechanics.

At Wonder Festival 2024 Summer, Proof showcased a new Attack on Titan figure of Levi Ackerman. It seems to be set during the Return to Shiganshina arc of the series when he faced off against the Beast Titan.

This Attack on Titan Levi figure seems to be fairly far along in development. While Proof didn’t offer a release window, it was in a fully painted prototype state. Special effects also appeared around Levi’s feet, to show motion as he uses his omni-directional mobility gear to get around the titan and position himself to attack. The copyright details at the bottom of the image also note that the figure itself is based on Attack on Titan: The Final Season.

Later this year, we’ll see another figure of Levi based on his appearance from the end of the series. Bandai Namco announced Rumbling versions of him and Hange Zoe. Those Ichibansho statues have a November 2024 launch window.

Attack on Titan is streaming on Crunchyroll, and Kodansha handles the manga outside of Japan. There is no release window for the Proof Attack on Titan: The Final Season figure of Levi Ackerman with the Beast Titan.

Mayla announced the release of a new pair of pumps based on The Rumbling from Attack on Titan. The new pair of Attack on Titan shoes Doomsday Titan model costs 29,700 yen (or approximately $188.12).

Pre-orders are now open from the Mayla online storefront and they will close on August 18, 2024. The pumps themselves are glossy black with a simple ribbon. The interior of the shoes and the outsole are red, and the outsole features a variety of motifs from Attack on Titan, including the shields for the Survey Corps, the Military Police Brigade, the Garrison, and the Training Corps.

Golden line accents cover the side and heel of the shoes, with the decoration imitating the ribs of the Founding Titan from Attack on Titan, also known as the Doomsday Titan. The shoes come packaged in a special box featuring images and motifs from the Attack on Titan anime series. In addition, an acrylic stand of Eren Yeager in his Founding Titan form is included with the purchase of the pumps.

Cosume has opened up pre-orders for cosplay outfits for the Survey Corps from Attack on Titan. The collection includes Eren Yeager's outfit (complete with the shirt underneath) and Levi Ackerman's attire (with the cravat and dress shirt). [Thanks, PR Times!]

The costumes will come out in late November 2024. Each one costs 26,400 JPY ($167.85), and they come with almost everything you need in of the outfit. If you want to accurately cosplay as Eren or Levi from Attack on Titan, you’ll need to purchase wigs and boots separately.

The official sources for the series have supervised the design process. The wings of freedom that symbolize the Survey Corps look a little scuffed. This is to represent the hard work that people of the Survey Corps do when they go outside the walls. Eren’s shirt is made of comfortable material that doesn’t wrinkle easily. Meanwhile, the scarf for Levi’s outfit is detachable. So even if you’re not sure how to tie it up, you can wear it.

Attack on Titan was a popular anime and manga series that started serialization in 2009. The anime for it came out in 2013. It is one of the best-selling manga series of all time, as well as won multiple awards such as the Kodansha Manga Award and the Harvey Award. It focuses on a timeline in which the final humans in the world live inside walled cities to avoid the threat of the giant people-eating Titans outside. After losing his mother to one, Eren vows to become a member of the Survey Corps, who go outside of the walls to investigate the Titans and thus provide the most opportunities to kill them.

The Attack on Titan cosplay outfits will come out in late November 2024.

Uwith is selling an exclusive cooking knife inspired by the ultrahard steel blades from Attack on Titan. This knife is created in collaboration with NiNJA, a renowned knife brand from Seki City, a world-famous knife production area.

Each blade is attached by hand by craftsmen, to create a double-edged attachment. The blade is made of molybdenum vanadium steel, known for its ease of maintenance and long-lasting sharpness. It is coated with titanium to enhance the wear resistance of the base material.

The knife is also designed to resemble the equipment used by the Survey Corps in Attack on Titan. The blade features diagonal lines engraved into it, reminiscent of the ultra-hard blades from the series. The handle design is designed to reproduce the look of the original weapons, complete with the Wings of Freedom logo symbolizing the Survey Corps. However, the blade cannot be replaced or ejected like the blades from the anime

You can watch the promotional video on YouTube. It first shows the knife when it is not in use on the cutting board. After that, it is shown being used to cut fruit, meat, and vegetables.

An important manufacturing process involves vacuum hardening, which ensures uniform hardness of the blade. The NiNJA logo is engraved on the back of the blade.

The knife is priced at 19,800 Yen tax included, which is about $126.16, and is available for purchase in Japan. Kodansha handles the Attack on Titan manga outside of Japan. Meanwhile, the anime adaptation is currently streaming on Crunchyroll.

Bandai Namco announced that it will release Attack on Titan Levi Ackermann and Hange Zoe figures based on their depiction during the Rumbling. Both will launch in November 2024 and cost $50 each.

Both of these figures are a part of the Ichibansho collection. They will also both be the same height. They’re listed as each being 6.3 inches tall. They’re designed to be dynamic figures showing the characters in the midst of a fight. Both wear their Survey Corps uniforms, as well as their omni-directional mobility gear.

First, here’s how the new Hange figure looks. The pose is designed to show forward momentum as they dash forward to attack.

Next, here’s the Levi figure. It’s designed to show the character using the omni-directional mobility gear to spin around and strike.

As a reminder, a new game based on the series is also on the way. Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable got pushed to 2024 following a delay. It will appear on Meta Quest headsets.

Game Beauty is selling Attack on Titan makeup based on characters and elements from the series on its official site. It focuses on characters like Eren, Mikasa, Armin, and Levi, as well as the Maria, Rose, and Sina walls, and pre-orders are open through March 7, 2024.

There are multiple options for purchasing items from the collection. People can buy items piecemeal. For example, the Eren, Mikasa, Armin, and Levi lip glosses are $15 each or $55 in a bundle all together. The Maria, Rose, and Sina eye shadow palettes are $18 each, and you can get a bundle of the three for $49. There is also a full collection option, which is $96 without a commemorative gift box and $106 with one.

People can now see the end of Attack on Titan, as the official Attack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS Special 2 English dub finale launched. It is live on Crunchyroll.

This is one of four dubs available for the series. The Japanese original version appeared back in November 2023. The English, German, Portuguese, and Spanish dubs debuted on the evening of January 7, 2024. 

There’s no trailer for the Attack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS Special 2 English dub on YouTube, but you can see one for the Special 1 anime adaptation. If you haven’t kept up with the series, there will be spoilers for what started in the first part of this finale. 

On social media, the official for the series shared a trailer showing how all of the main characters are dealing with the conclusion of the story. Eren, Mikasa, Armen, Levi, and Reiner all feature prominently in it.

Ahead of the end of the series, Crunchyroll and Kodansha tasked six artists with creating pieces to celebrate the end of the series. Adam Burke, Hieu Nguyen aka Kelogsloops, Jacopo Camagni, Marguerite Sauvage, Matt Taylor, and Thomas von Kummant each drew pieces depicting various characters at different moments throughout the series.

The Attack on Titan anime is streaming on Crunchyroll and the English dub for the finale is now live. Kodansha handles the manga.
