Gust’s Atelier series has been going on for almost two decades now, but to commemorate the occasion of the company’s 20th anniversary, they’re releasing a massive soundtrack for their popular series.
Dengeki teases that we might be seeing a new Atelier game, which will be one from the “Dusk” series to follow up Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk and Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky.
"They will continue the Atelier series and at the same time we will give them opportunities to do what they couldn't have done on their own," said Hisashi Koinuma, Executive Vice President of Tecmo Koei.
This week’s Dengeki PlayStaton magazine featured an interview with Gust’s director Yoshito Okamura, who hinted that they’ll be releasing a new Atelier game, that may not be related to the Dusk series
A piece of a Dengeki PlayStation with Atelier series lead Yoshito Okamura leaked out. Okamura confirmed the next Atelier title will not be set in Arland.
Atelier Meruru takes place in the small country of Earls, which is just outside of Arland. Meruru is a fifteen year old alchemist apprentice and Totori, now 19, is her teacher.
While Gust is slowly releasing details about the next game in the Atelier series, an attendee at this weekend's event recorded the teaser trailer and leaked it on to the Internet.
