Good Smile Company announced its L Size Atelier Ryza Reisalin Stout Pop Up Parade figure will debut in October 2025. This means it’ll arrive right around the sixth anniversary of the game in Japan. However, the estimated worldwide release window can be up to Q1 2026. She’ll cost ￥8,800 / $72.99.

So as always, the reason for the increased price is that this is much larger than a typical Pop Up Parade figure. Those tend to be $31.99 to 38.99 and stand at around seven inches tall. Also, they don’t come with any accessories, extra parts, or faceplates. However, this Ryza one is almost 10 inches tall. 

The announcement also specified that this is a take on Ryza based on her appearance in the anime adaptation called Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout The Animation. (That’s streaming on Crunchyroll outside of Japan.) The outfit is still near identical to the one from the game.

It isn’t unusual for companies like Good Smile Company to release merchandise specifically based on the Atelier Ryza anime adaptation. In June 2025, Proof will be releasing Klaudia and Lila figures of the two heroines wearing swimsuits shown in that version.

Koei Tecmo announced that the roguelike Warriors: Abyss will get Reisalin Stout from Atelier Ryza as a playable character. She’ll arrive in a free update on March 28, 2025. 

Previously, Warriors: Abyss only consisted of characters from Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors, so crossover characters from entries like Atelier Ryza weren’t available. She’ll be the first. She isn’t showing up in the character list or news section of the official site, however. We also only have the official splash art for her so far, which suggests she will be based on her appearance in the first game. No other details about the playable unit appeared yet.

While that’s the big update later this week, there are also paid and free updates right now. People can pay $11.99 for a Jin Dynasty Classic Costume Set add-on. Also, if you update your game, you’ll find that Sima Shi, Sima Zhao, Wang Yuanji, Zhang Chunhua, and Zhong Hui are all available as playable characters for free.

Warriors: Abyss is available now on the Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and Atelier Ryza DLC will appear for free on March 28, 2025.

Proof announced pre-orders are open for its new Atelier Ryza figure of Reisalin Stout in her pajamas after she just woke up. It is expected to ship out in Japan in July 2025, with the item appearing worldwide after that. It costs 22,000円 (~$145), but AmiAmi pre-orders cost 18,700円 (~$123). This Nightclothes version figure is based on her appearance in the anime adaptation.

This Atelier Ryza figure sits at 190mm (7 and a half inches) tall. Sits, because the 1/7 statue is actually posed in such a way that she looks like she is sitting on a wooden chair after waking up in the morning. She has her white pajamas with spaghetti straps on, with a yellow hoodie over that. Her right hand is positioned in a way that it looks like she’s rubbing her right eye, while her left hand is gripping the chair as she leans forward.

There’s yet another Ryza figure also in the works. Good Smile Company announced another Nendoroid of the heroine during Nendoroid Funs 2025 Winter. That one will be based on her appearance in the second game.

Proof revealed new figures modeled after Klaudia Valentz and Lila Decyrus wearing their respective swimsuits from the anime adaptation of Koei Tecmo and Gust's Atelier Ryza. The Japanese company also opened pre-orders for both figures, which will have the same price tag of 24,200 yen (~$159).

Both figures will have the same scale of 1/7. The standing Klaudia figure will have an overall height of around 25 cm (9.84 inches), while the kneeling Lila figure will be approximately 17 cm (6.69 inches) tall.

Pre-orders for both figures are also available worldwide via AmiAmi, which offers them with a discounted price tag of 20,570 yen (~$135). However, the Japanese outlet still cannot ship the figures to Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, and Cuba.

These figures are different from the ones Good Smile Company revealed at Smile Fest 2024. Those figures are being made by Solarain, and their prototypes are still unpainted as of June 2024. Good Smile Company has still yet to put those figures up for pre-order as of early February 2025 either.

Proof will release new swimsuit figures of Klaudia Valentz and Lila Decyrus from the anime adaptation of Atelier Ryza in June 2025.

Wright Flyer Studios announced the next major Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space crossover, and it involves the original Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness and the Secret Hideout game. Starting on December 5, 2024, players can take part in the crossover that features multiple characters from the Koei Tecmo and Gust JRPG.

The three playable characters in the crossover are Ryza, Klaudia, and Empel. WFS didn’t note acquisition methods, but in past events there would typically be a character to earn and others available in the gacha. The event storyline will also feature Lent, Lila, and Tao as non-playable participants. To tie in with the Atelier entry, people will be able to gather while exploring maps and use those items in Synthesis to craft items via alchemy. The battle system will also slightly change to include Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness and the Secret Hideout’s Core Items, Fatal Drive, and Order Skills. 

What’s interesting is that all of the Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness and the Secret Hideout Japanesevoice actors will return to reprise their roles in Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space.

Crossovers aren’t uncommon in Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space. Characters from other games and series often come up. Most recently, there was a The King of Fighters event in August 2024. That added characters like Kyo Kusanagi, Terry Bogard, Mai Shiranui, and Kula Diamond. In December 2023, an Octopath Traveler crossover added characters from the console and mobile games like Cyrus, Partitio, and Tithi. One of the most notable ones involved a storyline and characters from Persona 5 Royal.

Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space is available for the PC and mobile devices. Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness and the Secret Hideout is available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC. The Atelier Ryza crossover event starts in Another Eden on December 5, 2024.

Koei Tecmo released an optimization update for the different games in the Atelier Ryza Secret series. All of the updates are available via the Koei Tecmo website if you want to check them out.

Here is a brief summary of each optimization update for the Atelier Ryza series. In the first game, Version 1.10 will have auto-save, as well as the option to fast forward events and Fatal Drives. You will also be able to alter the controls on the Steam version of the game. For some reason, the Atelier Ryza 2 website for Japan, Europe, and America only show updates from 2021.

As for the third game, the latest version will add Very Easy difficulty, as well as the option to fast forward Fatal Drives. Kala’s Tent will also be a new landmark, but you need to visit it after the update goes live. The completion requirements for Klaudia’s “Three Medicines” character quest will also be changed.

Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideous came out in 2019. It’s the twenty-first mainline entry in the Atelier series, yet the first part of the Secret storyline. Like previous Atelier titles, alchemy is a major part of the game. It follows Ryza, who is a girl longing for adventure. She gets her wish after she sneaks onto a ship, fights a monster, and learns how to use alchemy.

The Atelier Ryza games are available on the PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and Nintendo Switch. The newest entry in the Atelier series will be Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land, which will come out on March 21, 2025 for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC via Steam.

During its Smile Fest 2024 announcements, Good Smile Company revealed five Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout figures of the characters in normal clothing and swimsuits. Two of them are Reisalin “Ryza” Stout, two are of Lila Decyrus, and one is of Klaudia Valentz. 

First, the one Ryza figure is actually a PLAMATEA model kit. If someone gets it, they can build a figure of her in her normal clothing from the game and anime. It is very early in development, so only an announcement with her official character art appeared.

The one Lila Decyrus figure is also of her in her official attire from the game and anime. In it, she is sitting while staring at the sky. It appeared as an unpainted prototype, so the scale figure is a bit further along in development.

Finally, the last three are Solarain Atelier Ryza figures of Ryza, Lila, and Klaudia in swimsuits. Each one is only at the unpainted prototype stage of development. 

Even though the Atelier Ryza original game has been out for a while, lots of figures based on it and the anime adaptation keep appearing. For example, a summer version of Ryza will appear in 2025. One involves a matching pair of her with Klaudia. Taito also recently released Aqua Float Girls versions of Ryza in a swimsuit while floating in an inner tube.

Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout is available on the PS4, Switch, and PC, and five figures of Ryza, Lila, and Klaudia are on the way. The anime adaptation is streaming on Crunchyroll.

Claynel has started accepting pre-orders for its Summer Adventure figure of Reisalin "Ryza" Stout from Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout. People in Japan can place their orders on Aniplex and AmiAmi web stores at 22,000 yen (~$145). The latter's international storefront also features the figure, but it will only be available in select countries and regions.

This static figure will be specifically based on the anime adaptation of Koei Tecmo and Gust's RPG title that started airing in Japan in July 2023. The 1/7 scale figure will have an overall height of 235mm (~9.25 inches).

The availability of this figure outside Japan will be limited. Even though AmiAmi is usually known for ing worldwide shipping, its listing for the Summer Ryza figure has a fine print stating the limited amount of countries and territories that can receive the figure. It will be available in the entire Americas from north to south. But other than that, the figure will only be available in Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and the United Kingdom.

AmiAmi and Aniplex will close pre-orders for the 1/7 scale Summer Adventure figure of Reisalin "Ryza" Stout from the Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout anime show on August 5, 2024. Claynel will formally release the figure in March 2025.

New Atelier Ryza figures are now available to pre-order form Good Smile Company, this time featuring Ryza and Klaudia wearing Chinese-style dresses. The figures are available separately, or together on the same stand with a bonus model of Fi.

Based on the characters' appearance in Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends and the Secret Fairy, these figures are sculpted in 1/6 scale and stand around 280 mm tall. As a pair they will cost ¥45,800 or $281.99, but also come with optional parts to depict them separately or holding hands, as well as a bonus figure of Fi the fairy. Alone they will cost ¥23,800 or $146.99, but come with less options. Orders from the Global store are expected to ship in February, 2025, while US store orders are expected in Quarter 3, 2025.

Udon Entertainment announced it will localize and release the Atelier Ryza: Official Visual Collection 1 and 2 art books based on the first games next month. Both will appear digitally and physically on December 5, 2023 for $49.99 each.

Each of these art books focuses on a different entry. However, the contents are similar. Toridamono acted as character designer and artist on the games and contributed to the collections. There’s also an array of concept art and design documents that were used during the development of both games. In addition, Udon translated the games’ Executive Producer Junzo Hosoi and Toridamono interviews going over the titles in the second entry. The first volume features a short story starring the game’s characters. Both books are each 160 pages long. 

Here are the localized covers for both of the art books. Each one features Ryza in her main outfit she wears in the first and second games. In the book for the second game, she's holding the mascot character Fi.

Wonderful Works revealed on its social media that it will start accepting pre-orders for Reisalin Stout's dress figure from the Atelier Ryza anime on October 12, 2023. The studio will involve Ryza's dress that she wore in the anime's seventh episode to the 3D figure.

The Japanese announcement tweet, which included a preview image of the figure, is available below. It simply mentioned that the studio will start accepting orders for the Atelier Ryza anime dress figure from "tomorrow." It also asked people to wait for further information.

Wonderful Works previously revealed figures modeled after Ryza's main attires from all three entries in the trilogy. It usually works with Good Smile Company to release its figures worldwide. The studio is working to release the Atelier Ryza 3 figure in December 2023 in Japan and 2024 elsewhere worldwide, after Good Smile Company closed the pre-orders in February 2023. Other companies like Max Factory and Phat! have also revealed their own Atelier Ryza figures.

Pre-orders for Reisalin Stout's dress version figure will open on October 12, 2023. The figure's attire will be based on the anime adaptation of Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout, which started airing in July 2023. Koei Tecmo revealed that sales for the Atelier Ryza trilogy of games sured two million copies worldwide. To celebrate this milestone, Koei Tecmo and Gust will re-release some pre-order bonus DLC for Atelier Ryza 2 for free in Japan. It is unclear if the DLC will also be made available overseas. The anime is slated to come out in Japan on July 1, 2023. Additionally, a new special key visual for the anime adaptation of Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout was unveiled on June 10, 2023. [Thanks, Game Watch!]

Character Designer Tomoyuki Shitaya is responsible for the newly released illustration. In addition, the new key visual for the anime adaptation shows returning characters Empel Vollmer and Lila Decyrus and how they'll look in the new adaptation. With the inclusion of these two characters, the Atelier Ryza main cast of characters is complete.
