Anycolor canceled the first-ever live Nijisanji concert in North America. Anime Expo 2024, originally going to hold the NIJISANJI EN SUMMER JAM on July 6, 2024 and a live concert, "Welcome to Wonder Wander World," on July 7, 2024, has announced that both of these live events will no longer be happening.

The press release, coming from the official Anime Expo site, did not clarify exactly why the Nijisanji live concert was canceled. This is also not the first time Nijisanji recently pulled out of a convention event. Nijisanji previously canceled an event at OffKai Expo in May 2024. Vtubers Millie Parfait, Enna Aloutte, and Reimu Endou were supposed to attend. The abruptness of this cancellation seems to be the main sticking point, with many people taking their laments to social media.

Nijisanji announcing that this first-ever live concert has been cancelded comes on the heels of a number of issues around Nijisanji's English Branch's decline and after the sudden departure of one of their talents, Selen Tatsuki.

While the Live concerts will no longer be happening, the NIJISANJI EN SUMMER JAM will be live streamed for free on the official Nijisanji Youtube Channel and according to Anime Expo, full refunds for the tickets will be offered and processed. In addition, Nijisanji has stated that they are working on special perks and offerings for individuals who purchased the tickets as an apology.

Anime Expo will be held from July 4-7, 2024 in Los Angeles, California.

ChroNoiR of Nijisanji will appear at Anime Expo 2024 to hold a concert. “Welcome to Wonder Wander World” will also be available for streaming.

This concert will focus on the “Wonder Wander World” album, which is their second one. They also held a concert in Japan earlier this year. The concert should last for about sixty minutes, and it’ll run on July 7, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM PT. Tickets cost $65 for the pit and $40 for the orchestra, and you can purchase tickets from ShowClix. They’re on a first-come, first-served basis, so interested parties will have to move fast.

ChroNoiR is a singing duo consisting of Kanae and Kuzuha of Nijisanji JP. These two are some of the biggest names on the JP side. In 2021, Kuzuha became the first male VTuber to reach a million subscribers, and Kanae reached that milestone a year later in 2022. In February 2024, Kuzuha and Kanae were the only two VTubers from Nijisanji who made it onto a list of the most watched VTubers for that month. With the exception of Dokibird, all of the other on the list were from Hololive. As of the time of writing, Kuzuha has 1.73 million subscribers on his channel, and Kanae has 1.29 million.

ChroNoiR will be at Anime Expo on July 7, 2024, for their concert. Other guests who’ll be present include voice actress Britt Baron (Tifa in FFVII Rebirth), Kanou Yoshiki (the director of Fate/Grand Order Part 2, and voice actor Natsuki Hanae (Tanjiro in Demon Slayer).
