Halloween is coming to Inkopolis Square. The Splatoon 2 Splatoween event has been announced on Nintendo’s European and Japanese Twitter s. It all begins on October 19, 2018 and will end on October 21, 2018.
The Splatoon 2 Splatoween event is more substantial than an ordinary Splatfest. New clothing will be given away to people who subscribe to the Nintendo Switch Squid Research Lab Bulletin news channel. The Japanese Twitter says to expect this news to appear on the evening of October 5, 2018, which coincidentally is the same day the European Twitter says people can pick a side for the Splatfest portion of Splatoween.
The screenshots also show the decorations that will be placed for Splatoon 2 Splatoween. Inkopolis Square and certain stages will have Halloween decorations up. To be more specific, both Moray Towers and Musselforge Fitness’ makeovers are shown in the initial images.
Splatoon 2 is available for the Nintendo Switch. As a reminder, you now need Nintendo Switch Online to play this game online.
