School-Themed Shmup Gakuen Will Have Some Sort Of ‘Bloomers’ Mode

In 2017, M2 announced at a Cave event that they were making a new shoot ’em up tentatively titled Feveron Gakuen (bringing to mind Cave’s Dangun Feveron), and more info will be finally revealed on the mysterious game, now tentatively titled Gakuen, in the issue of Dengeki PlayStation.

What’s currently known about Gakuen is that it is a shoot ’em up and visual novel hybrid themed around cute girls at a Japanese high school. There will also be some sort of ‘Bloomers’ mode (Bloomers as in the old style of gym shorts in Japan).

The producer of the game is Yoshiyasu Matsushita, who previously worked on games like the Twinkle Star Sprites series, SNK’s Doki Doki Majo Shinpan! series, and art for Kimi no Yuusha, among others.
