Romancing SaGa 2 Brings The Bard Back To Wii U This Month

Square Enix is re-releasing the Super Famicom game Romancing SaGa 2 as a Wii U Virtual Console in Japan. You play through a royal linage in Romancing SaGa 2 starting as the king and then his son. Similar to Phantasy Star III there are multiple generations in the story and your kingdom grows depending on how you develop it.

Romancing Saga 2 was never released overseas, so we won’t get this game as a Virtual Console title. However, we might see something SaGa related in the future aside from Emperor SaGa since producer Akitoshi Kawazu said there would be a new SaGa announcement sometime this year.
