Nijisanji Vtuber Kanae Chosen to Sing Overtake Anime Theme Song

Kanae, a virtual liver and Vtuber associated with Nijisanji, was chosen to perform the opening song for Overtake, an racing anime set to begin airing October 1, 2023. The title of the track is “Tailwind.” This was announced on the official anime social media .

Kanae is a Nijisanji Vtuber with 1.21 million subscribers on his YouTube channel as of time of writing. He has been with the company since May 2018.

Overtake will be a collaboration production between Kadokawa and Troyca. The story revolves around Koya Madoka, a freelance photographer who makes a connection with F4 driver Haruka Asahina. An official website for the anime already opened with initial details.

The Overtake anime will begin airing in Japan on October 1, 2023.
