As for the Tales of Arise trailer, it helps set the stage for the game. We’re introduced to Mother Dahna, a figure that would supposedly protect a country that has since fallen. We meet the main character, an amnesiac who was a slave and still wears some of the remnants of that mask on his face. We also meet the heroine, who possesses a sword that the hero is able to wield. Together, they’re fighting for Dahnans who remain. The trailer ends with the heroine saying, “I may be giving you the sword, but you still need me to unleash its power.”

This falls in line with a lot of what Bandai Namco said as 2020 ended. First, COVID-19 pandemic-related delay.
Tales of Arise will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in 2021. More Tales of Arise news will come in Spring 2021.
