A feature Mojang teased a month ago is finally heading to Minecraft Dungeons. In October 2020, the developer revealed that a free update would let people play together, regardless of which console they were using. (Just like the regular versions of Minecraft.) Now the official Twitter for the game revealed Minecraft Dungeons cross-play will appear on November 17, 2020.
The feature will be ed on all platforms and the update will be distributed on the four fronts that same day. The tweet also offered a pleasant teaser image showing a full party of four heading off to fight a foe in the action-RPG.
Heroes, are you listening?!

If this is the update someone was waiting for before buying a copy of the game, it might be wise now to wait for the Black Friday 2020 sales to kick in. As GameStop pointed out, this deal isn’t limited to the Nintendo Switch version and applies to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One ones as well.
Minecraft Dungeons is available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The Minecraft Dungeons cross-play update will appear on November 17, 2020.
