Many English Voice Actors Return for Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut 

Sega announced the English voice actors who will play characters in Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut on the Switch 2, and many will return to voice people they played in past games. Most notably, Matt Mercer, who played Kazuma Kiryu in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, will return for this installment. There are also two trailers highlighting moments with Kiryu and Majima in English. 

First, here’s how Yea sounds when he appears as Kiryu again in the game.

As a reminder, in addition to the new English voice actors appearing in Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut, there are a number of other exclusives in this new Nintendo-exclusive version of the game. It runs at 60fps in 4K. There will be 30 new cutscenes to help expand on the game’s story. A co-op, online multiplayer mode called Red Light Raid also ended up being added.

Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut will come to the Nintendo Switch 2 on June 5, 2025. The original version of the game is on the PS3, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
