Importers take note, the Japanese and Asian versions of Lost Odyssey have two language tracks: Japanese and English. It’s rare for a Japanese release to get this kind of treatment because companies know they can make some extra cash by selling international versions where the English voices are considered an extra. While English voice acting makes Lost Odyssey more import friendly, the text remains in Japanese. Since you have to navigate through menus and read ages about Kaim’s past importing Lost Odyssey still requires a fair degree of Japanese literacy and a Japanese/Asian Xbox 360. Unfortunately, Lost Odyssey is region locked. On the plus side the wait will not be much longer. Microsoft plans to release Lost Odyssey in less than two months, it arrives in stores on February 12, 2008.
