Kuromi and My Melody Anniversary Sanrio Watches Appear

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of My Melody and 20th anniversary Kuromi, Sanrio is teaming up with Seiko and Sunflame Watch Gallery to release some collaboration watches. Watches from both brands are readily available in Japan.

The Seiko watch costs 43,780 JPY. This converts to $303.05. You can purchase this watch at the Premico Online Shop, which does not seem to offer overseas shipping. The Seiko 50th anniversary My Melody watch has a metallic rose gold face, with Melody where the 6 is and a bow where the 12 is. An image of My Melody is etched on the back, and the watch will come in a box that resembles a cute pink cottage.

As for the Sunflame Watch Gallery products, you can choose between three variations. They cost 2,750 JPY each, which converts to $19.05. The My Melody watch is a pale pink with darker accents, and the Kuromi watch is black with pale lavender accents. There is also a watch with both mascots. It has a hot pink band with black accents. These watches are available while supplies last. As of the time of writing, Sunflame Watch Gallery reports 25 left.

The My Melody and Kuromi anniversary watches are available in Japan. Other initiatives for the milestone include a Line theme.
