Namco Bandai’s Fullmetal Alchemist game for PSP is different from Racjin’s action RPGs and the recent Wii title, which is more like a visual novel. Fullmetal Alchemist: Senka wo Takuseshi Mono is a two on two fighting game.

 

You can punch, kick, and block, but it wouldn’t be Fullmetal Alchemist without alchemy. Edward has two moves, an alchemic attack (left) done by holding R and pressing X or O and and a defensive wall (right) which you can create by holding R and hitting square.

What’s neat about the system Edward draws “elements” from the environment. When he’s standing on soft ground he makes a brittle earth wall and when he’s on concrete he can transmute a sturdy stone wall.
