Guilty Gear Strive will cross-play between the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 consoles. However, this feature will not be available for PC s. Additionally, consumers who have purchased the PlayStation 4 version of Guilty Gear Strive can the PlayStation 5 version of the game with no additional costs.
This information was disclosed through the latest FAQ posted on the official Guilty Gear Strive website. This includes specifications on how s can upgrade their PlayStation 4 version to the PlayStation 5 version of Strive. As mentioned above, s will be able to upgrade their copy. PlayStation 4 s who have purchased Guilty Gear Strive through the PlayStation Network online store can the PlayStation 5 version with no additional cost.
Additionally, there will be no differences between the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions of the game outside of resolution and loading times.
And as mentioned above, cross-play between both systems will be ed for Guilty Gear Strive. The FAQ also mentions that outside from this feature not being available to PC s, and there will not be a release of the Ultimate Edition for Steam.
Guilty Gear -Strive- will release on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC on April 9, 2021. The Ultimate Edition and the digital-only Deluxe edition will be available on the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on April 6, 2021.
