Gigantamax Gengar and Grimmsnarl Will Haunt Pokemon Sword and Shield Dens in October

Pokemon Sword and Shield are getting into the seasonal spirit. Two of the more spooky characters will both be showing up more often in its Max Raids. Should you look for fights online or in Wild Area dens, you’ll have a better chance of running into both Gigantamax Gengar and Grimmsnarl until October 31, 2020.

Of course, they aren’t the only two Pokemon appearing more frequently. This is actually a more general dark and ghost-type Pokemon event for the month. In addition to those characters, you might also see Drifblim, Dusknoir, Hydreigon, and Morpeko. Earlier forms of those characters, like Deino, Duskull, Impidimp, Morgrem, and Zweilous too.

There’s a lot happening in Pokemon Sword and Shield in general right now. physical all-in-one versions of the game that include it and the expansion on a cartridge in November 2020.

Pokemon Sword and Shield are available for the Nintendo Switch. People will have an easier time finding Gigantamax Gengar and Grimmsnarl Max Raids in-game until October 31, 2020, due to the latest Wild Area event.
