First Persona 5: The Phantom X Characters and Phantom Idols Shared

Atlus started releasing profiles and art for different Persona 5: The Phantom X characters and Phantom Idols ahead of its June 2025 launch. The characters are of our avatar’s immediate group who attend Kokatsu Academy high school alongside us. Meanwhile, the Phantom Idols are summoned by Merope in the Velvet Room when we go to visit Igor and also act as additional playable characters.

The five main profiles go over the Persona 5: The Phantom X characters who all go to the same school. Our avatar has Janosik as a Persona. He’s voiced by Koki Uchiyama and has the Phantom Thief name Wonder. Lufei the owl mascot is voiced by Ai Nonaka, has the Robroy Persona, and has the code name Cattle. Kaede Hondo plays Motoha Arai, who has the Awilda Persona and is known as Closer. Katsuyuki Konishi voices Shun Kano, aka Soy, and uses Mandrin. Finally, Riko “Wind” Tanemura is played by Atsumi Tanezaki, and she possesses the Chiyome Persona.

Here are all the profile images showing the characters in their Kokatsu Academy uniforms.
