Squished between scenes from the CG introduction for Final Fantasy IV: The After Years, Square Enix’s latest trailer for Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection has a sliver of footage from the Interlude. This new episode takes place the newly restored Damcyan castle and connects the story between Final Fantasy IV and The After Years.

Cid, Rosa, Cecil, Yang, Palom, and Porom are present when Edward welcomes them to Damcyan. Rydia appears to be leaving the Feymarch since Asura asks where is she going. And the Mom Bomb will be avenged by the Father Bomb! You can see a glimpse of the Father Bomb transforming during a fight with Cecil, Rosa, Yang, and two Monks.
