Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles Free Update to Add Akaza and Rui

Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles will receive new playable characters through free post-game updates. The first two characters that will Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles through the first update are Akaza and Rui. Previously, Developer CyberConnect2 revealed that boss fight was shared in August 2021.

A total of three post-launch DLC will be available entirely for free. Each of these post-launch DLCs will add two playable characters into Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles. This means the game will have received a total of six playable characters by the end of these post-launch DLCs.

Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles will be available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. It will release in Japan on October 14, 2021, and will release worldwide on October 15, 2021. Consumers who purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition can start playing on October 13, 2021.
