Dan Da Dan Season 2 Episodes Appear in Movie Theaters First

There are debut in movie theaters. In the US and Canada, we’ll get to see the show first on June 6, 2025, ahead of it streaming on services like Crunchyroll on July 3, 2025.

First, there’s the one and a half minute trailer for Dan Da Dan: Evil Eye, which is the name the first three season 2 episodes are being released under when those show up in movie theaters. The video begins with the yokai Evil Eye, the antagonist of this latest arc, announcing his intentions to assault humanity now that he found a body. However, Okarun is there and takes on the Turbo Granny form to fight back. From there, we get a hint at some of the fights Momo and Okarun face at the start of the new season.

We don’t just know the theatrical debut dates for North America. The official English social media covered four different regions. The earliest episodes will appear is on May 30, 2025, as that’s when it will show up in countries in Asia. On June 6, 2025, it will show up in North America and Australia. The European debut is a day later on June 7, 2025. 

Coincidentally, June also happens to be when the next volume of the Dan Da Dan manga will appear in English. Viz Media announced that volume 13 will launch on June 3 2025. Previously, volume 12 debuted on April 1, 2025. 

Dan Da Dan season 2 will start on July 3, 2025, though the first three episodes will appear as Dan Da Dan: Evil Eye in movie theaters in North America on June 6, 2025. The manga is released outside Japan by Viz Media.
