A summary of a shareholder Q & A session released by Capcom included a comment on the future of fan-favorite series such as Sengoku Basara and Onimusha. The last mainline installments these series received were in 2014 and 2006, respectively.

Q: What are your future plans for expanding the Monster Hunter, Toraware no Paruma, Sengoku Basara and Onimusha series?
A: We are carrying out discussions regarding the future expansion of these titles so they can be enjoyed by a wide audience
The last mainline installment of the Sengoku Basara series was Sengoku Basara 4 in 2014, followed by the Sumeragi expansion a year later and a spin-off focusing on Sanada Yukimura in 2016. The series inspired several anime adaptations such as Sengoku Basara: Samurai Kings, which consisted of 2 seasons and a movie, and Basara Gakuen, which features series characters in a high school setting. However, Series Producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi left Capcom for Netease back in 2022.
Capcom released a anime adaptation directed by Takashi Miike is also in the works.
The Onimusha: Warlords remaster is available immediately on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Ps4 and PC.
