2016 isn’t only the 20th anniversary of the Pokémon series. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Resident Evil series as well. Throughout 2016, Capcom is celebrating the Resident Evil 20th Anniversary, and part of that includes rereleasing Resident Evil 4, 5, and 6 on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The ports were announced today via Capcom-Unity.

Capcom is reversing the order when rereleasing these games. The first port will be Resident Evil 6. It will come to both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 29, 2016. Resident Evil 5 will follow sometime in summer 2016. We won’t see Resident Evil 4 on the consoles until fall 2016.
