At the end of the June 2025 Konami Press Start presentation, the company confirmed that Bloober Team is working on a new Silent Hill game remake. This appeared as the opening guitar from the song “Hometown,” variants of which appeared in Silent Hill, Silent Hill 3, and Silent Hill: Origins, played.
The teaser came up right about at the 35:27 mark of the end of the presentation. Initially, we saw a black background with the same fog as the original Silent Hill seeping in, before imagery came up teasing the remake of the game. Only the original logo for the title, with Konami and Bloober Team’s logos above it, showed up after that. No release window appeared. Only a note stating that this title is in development.

Bloober worked on the Silent Hill 2 remake, which ended up being a success for both companies.
The original Silent Hill appeared as a PlayStation exclusive. However, we did also see it in other forms. In Japan, it showed up as a GBA visual novel following that first debut. That version was called Play Novel: Silent Hill. Silent Hill: Shattered Memories ended up being a reimagining of that game for the PS2, PSP, and Wii.
A remake of Silent Hill is in development, and the first game appeared on the PlayStation.
