People in Japan will have a chance to fall in love with Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 7 before it launches on the Nintendo Switch. A demo has been confirmed for the game via the game’s official one week before the otome game makes its debut.
The Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 7 demo will cover the game’s introduction. In the announcement, and as translated by Siliconera’s Kazuma Hashimoto, you can play up to the second chapter. Given how text-heavy the game is, it would very likely not be playable if someone is not fluent.
The Harukanaru Toki no Naka de series is made up of period-piece otome games. Each one involves visual novel elements and some sort of RPG battles. While past entries involved tactical affairs, the latest trailers for Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 7 show fights inspired by more traditional, turn-based RPGs. As you can see in the video below, everyone automatically attacks, though you can weigh in during fights by pressing an action button to offer for specific party . The “tactical” element this time around seems to involve correctly choosing which of your party appear in each fight, as every character has a certain element they specialize in.
Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 7 will come to the Nintendo Switch in Japan on June 18, 2020.
