Princess Connect! Re: Dive English Version Ending Services on Late April

Princess Connect Re: Dive's global English version will shut down on April 30, 2023.

Crunchyroll Games announced it is terminating services for the worldwide version of Princess Connect Re: Dive after two years. In preparation, the in-game shop closed and in-app purchases are no longer available. Players who already ed the game can still play as usual until April 30, 2023, when the game will finally shut down.

Current players can still use resources such as jewels and even claim two new characters before the game closes, Rin (Ranger) and Mahiru (Ranger). In reference to the end of service, Crunchyroll also commented that “countless stories (…) will be left untold.” This alludes to the fact that services are continuing normally for the original Japanese version.

Crunchyroll did not state a reason for ending for the game. Furthermore, the game already appears as vaulted on the publisher’s website, and a quick search on Android and iOS app stores shows no results. On the same note, many players expressed their frustration with Crunchyroll’s treatment of the game.

Re: Dive was first launched by Cygames in Japan in 2018. It is a sequel to 2015’s Princess Connect. Crunchyroll Games later published an English version globally in 2021. The game featured many collaborations with other mobile titles such as also shut down on November 2022.

Princess Connect Re: Dive is currently available on mobile devices until April 30, 2023, when the global version’s service will end.
