FFVII Remake PS5 Upgrade Will Be an Option for PlayStation Plus

Square Enix announced that soon people who got FFVII Remake when it was a free PlayStation Plus game could upgrade it to the PS5 version.

People who got Final Fantasy VII Remake PS4 via PlayStation Plus will soon get the chance to move on up. Square Enix revealed it will allow people who acquired that version of FFVII Remake to the PS5 version. This will be available on December 22, 2021. In addition, the Yuffie Intermission DLC will go on sale the same day.

The FFVII Remake Intergrade PS5 version came up during the get the free upgrade.

As for the Yuffie DLC, normally it costs $19.99. That gives you the two chapter story that follows Yuffie and Sonon in Midgar. With the discount, it will be $14.99.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is available for the PS4. FFVII Remake Intergrade is available for the PS5 and PC via Epic Games Store. The option to the FFVII Remake PS5 version if you have the PS4 PlayStation Plus version will arrive on December 22, 2021.
