Aniplex Online Fest Will Show Off Its Anime and Games via YouTube

On July 4th you'll be free to catch the latest news on Demon Slayer, Sword Art Online, Fate and more, thanks to the Aniplex Online Fest.

2020 has seen no end of cancellations for major events, such as Anime Expo. That won’t stop Aniplex, though, as it has dropped details about Aniplex Online Fest, a streaming event intended to promote its productions and acts. The event, which will stream in English on YouTube, will take place from July 4-5, 2020. The July 4th weekend also allows the event to overlap slightly with Anime Expo’s own online-only stream Anime Expo Lite.

Aniplex Online Fest will involve a number of programs featuring staff and cast from a number of Aniplex productions, including anime and games. s, discussions, and announcements will be held for titles like Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, The Promised Neverland, Cells at Work!, Kaguya-sama: Love is WarMagia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story, and Sword Art Online. The Fate franchise will also have outside representation, as Fate/Grand Order: Absolute Demonic Front BabyloniaFate/Grand Order Camelot, and Fate/Stay Night Heaven’s Feel Part III: Spring Song will all make an appearance. Aniplex.exe, the newly launched publishing label for visual novels, will show off ATRI and Adabana.

Performances are also on the docket for the show, with special appearances and live streams from music artists. Acts like ClariS, ASCA, Eir Aoi, halca, Mashiro Ayano, ReoNa, TrySail, and LiSA will be present. Sally Amaki of idol group 22/7 will be hosting the English-language Aniplex Online Fest stream.

Aniplex Online Fest will stream from July 4 to 5, 2020 on YouTube globally and on bilibili in China. More details about the show can be found at the official website.
