Disney XD Picks Up 50 More Yo-Kai Watch Episodes

In Japan, the first season of Yo-Kai Watch consisted of 76 episodes. While the first 26 episodes are immediately available in English, the next 50 will begin airing on Disney XD on August 1, 2016.

When the Yo-Kai Watch anime was released outside of Japan, only 26 of the first season’s 76 episodes were localized. Now, Disney XD and Level-5 have confirmed that the remaining episodes will appear outside of Japan. Beginning August 1, 2016 at 12:30pm ET/PT, the next 50 episodes will air as the show’s second season in the west.

 

Episode 27 of Yo-Kai Watch will begin with Nate, Whisper, and Jibanyan getting the Model Zero Yo-Kai Watch. Subsequent episodes will see the characters traveling back in time and meeting classic Yo-Kai like Hovernyan. Over 90 characters will appear in the show over the course of these 50 episodes.

 

You can watch the Yo-Kai Watch anime on Disney XD and Netflix. Yo-Kai Watch 2 will come to the Nintendo 3DS in North America on September 30, 2016.
