Unlike its Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 counterparts, Sonic Generations on the Nintendo 3DS is an entirely side-scrolling game. Sega released three screens of the game for E3:

 

All versions of Generations have stages exclusive to them, except for the Green Hill Zone, which is in every version. All three versions of Sonic Generations — and perhaps a PC version — are due out this November.
