Trump Tariffs Affect Good Smile Company Nendoroids, Figures

Good Smile Company announced how the tariffs enacted by President Donald Trump affect Nendoroids, figmas, figures, and other pieces of video game and anime merchandise. It won’t take pre-orders for items, is delayed shipments for in-progress pre-orders, increased prices on its storefront, and items won’t be tax exempt under the de minimis tax exemption system, according to messages on the US and Japanese sites.

The announcement on the Japanese site ended up being a little more detailed, with more exact dates for the changes and locations. It noted this applies to the US, American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands. If a product is already in-stock, it can be purchased. However, it might cost more now. Starting immediately, pre-orders are closed to folks in those regions and shipments to the US are delayed.
