Epic Games previously announced that a Switch 2 version for Fortnite is currently in the making. However, for Fitness Boxing the issues encountered in the game will be solved via a title update. There is no information yet on if this update will be available on launch day for the new system or when exactly it will be available. It is also unknown if that will be a free patch or paid upgrade.

Furthermore, during the evaluation process, Nintendo encountered 139 games presenting undisclosed issues on the new Switch 2 console. Some of these include Doom Eternal, Pizza Tower, Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes, Undernauts: Labyrinth of Yomi, and Final Fantasy, to name a few. For the final title, the list didn’t specify which game, but given the naming convention it could be the Pixel Remaster version of the first title.

Meanwhile, 50 games were confirmed to have some issues, but can otherwise be played and progress can be made.  A few games appearing in this list are Harvestella, Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection, Alan Wake Remastered, Overcooked, and Alien: Isolation.

Meanwhile, the Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 04: VR Kit game is listed as having no possible compatibility with the Nintendo Switch 2. This is due to the size of the cardboard kit not being prepared with the size of the new hardware in mind.

The Nintendo Switch 2 is set to launch worldwide on June 5, 2025. The pre-order period has been delayed for North America due to issues with tariffs.
